Jeremy
Oberstein

Co-Founder + Principal

Jeremy Oberstein is a communications strategist, writer, and civic leader based in Los Angeles. As the co-founder of 10th Street Communications, he advises leaders and organizations across government, business, and philanthropy on how to communicate with purpose and clarity. His work focuses on helping institutions turn complex issues into stories that move people to think, act and lead.

Before launching his firm, Jeremy served as Chief of Staff to Los Angeles City Controller Ron Galperin, where he helped shape reforms on transparency, ethics, and fiscal accountability. Earlier in his career, he worked as a reporter, covering politics, government, and the economy throughout California. That mix of journalism and public service has grounded his approach.

Outside of his consulting work, Jeremy serves on civic boards, coaches his daughter’s softball team and writes a monthly column about the history and hidden stories of the San Fernando Valley. He has been interviewed for several publications, including The Los Angeles Times and Politico about Los Angeles politics and culture, offering perspective on how messaging, media, and leadership collide in the country’s most complex city.
